About Emily
Taking care of children has always been a part of my life. My mom was a child care provider for 43 years. I was an assistant for my mom throughout my childhood and if daycare parents needed child care on nights or weekends, I was always available to help. The daycare children were like family to us. I was the youngest in my family, so I saw them as little siblings I didn't have.Me with my mom's daycare.
The summer after graduating from high school, I was an assistant at another home daycare for a few months, until I was hired by a daycare parent as a dispatcher for the plumbing company she worked for. I worked for that company for 4 years, and I often provided child care for my co-workers on nights and weekends. I always thought about having my own home daycare some day. 
Besides my love for children and my background, I also thought it would be a wonderful way to be able to stay home with my daughter. I obtained my child care license when my daughter was 2 months old. It has been 16 years now, and I love my job!
 At Emily’s Child Care, your child will be learning ABCs, 123s, shapes, colors and social skills. They will learn through play, in a loving, fun and safe environment with a family-like setting.
