Taking care of children has been a way of life for me since I was a child myself. My mom has been a day care provider for over 35 years, so I have many years of experience.

In 6th grade, after starting homeschool, I was always around to help out during daycare. If the parents needed me on nights or weekends, I was available then as well. The children in my mom's day care became like family and I was always interested in the possibility of opening my own daycare.

The summer after graduating from high school, I worked part-time at a home daycare. In August I started dispatching at a plumbing company but I ended up caring for many of my co-workers children on nights and weekends.

Because of my love of children, I always had a desire to have children of my own. When I found out that I was going to be a mother, I started the process of getting my childcare license. It was the perfect opportunity to open my own daycare, while also being able to stay at home with my baby.

I completed the process in October 2006, when my daughter was 2 months old.
I have been a daycare provider for 3 years, and I love my job!

To children all these things are new

They need a place that's safe to be

A place to learn their ABCs
